Training and Safety
ParklandGEO considers the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors and the public core company values. A detailed workplace hazard assessment and health & safety plan are prepared for every job. No site work is undertaken until all safety requirements are satisfied.
ParklandGEO is committed to Health and Safety. ParklandGEO undertook an extensive safety evaluation of all field operations, including preparation of all necessary materials and procedures to achieve a Certificate of Recognition (COR) from Alberta Labour. As well, ParklandGEO is registered with ISN Networld and Comply Works safety databases.
ParklandGEO staff continually upgrade their safety training, including taking courses on TDG, WHMIS, First Aid, Ground Disturbance (Level II) and, for key personnel working in the upstream oil and gas industry, H2S Alive.
ParklandGEO employees will work as part of team with our clients and subcontractors to ensure the safety of all worksite personnel and the public. All ParklandGEO and subcontractor employees conduct a hazard assessment prior to commencing any site project work. Unsafe conditions are identified, and corrective actions implemented to ensure the safety of all workers and the public. All workplace injuries or near-miss incidents are investigated immediately by a ParklandGEO Project Manager and Safety Manager.
Our safety objective for every project is to complete the work using safe procedures and behaviours, resulting in zero injuries or near-miss incidents. Our safety record is a testament to our high safety standards and is a clear demonstration of our commitment to safety.
ParklandGEO is registered with the Workers Compensation Board in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
