About the Opportunity

Continuing demand for the kinds of services that we provide has resulted in immediate opening for a senior geotechnical engineer to take a technical leadership role for the geotechnical group in our organization.

Working as the technical group leader, you will be responsible to:

• Provide technical review of geotechnical office and lab operations;
• Coordinate and project manage a wide variety of geotechnical projects;
• Undertake detailed geotechnical analysis and design tasks;
• Mentor geotechnical staff in all offices;
• Prepare and review of proposals;
• Prepare and review reports.

Qualifications

Consideration will be given to applicants with:

• Minimum 8 years of experience;
• Registration with APEGGA as a P.Eng.;
• A masters degree in geotechnical engineering;
• A strong background in foundation engineering, earth structures and slope assessment;
• Strong written and oral communications;
• Ability to manage clients and staff with strong people skills;
• Ability to relocate to Red Deer, Alberta;
